Acupuncture 鍼灸

Acupuncture can range from gentle relaxing treatments to aggressive injury treatments, and includes everything in between. Acupuncture involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate blood flow, promote muscle relaxation or stimulation, and to improve the body’s innate healing ability to reach optimal health. Using both traditional concepts such as channel theory and qi 氣, and modern research theories on trigger points and microtrauma, our practitioners use a well-rounded treatment approach to meet the needs of our patients.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a subset of acupuncture that uses modern medical terminology and diagnosis to focus on pain relief. This technique involves the insertion of thin needles into trigger points in your muscles to release tension, alleviate pain, and restore mobility. Our expert practitioners use their knowledge of anatomy and physiology, along with their MANY YEARS of study and training  in acupuncture, to target areas of dysfunction and promote healing.

Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture uses Electrical Stimulation or Microcurrent to activate your sympathetic nerve fibers. By activating these fibers, your body releases endogenous opioids such as endorphins, which help to reduce inflammation. The activated nerve fibers may also help to reduce feelings of persistent pain. This makes it a good treatment for chronic pain and stress.
