Dr. Yipei Lin ND, AEMP

Dr. Lin graduated with a doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine and master degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. She is also a diplomate of National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Prior to this, she graduated from University of Oregon for her bachelor degree in psychology. She completed a fellowship in Oriental Medicine in the Teaching Hospital of Chengdu Traditional Chinese Medicine. Also at Bastyr University while doing her clinical training, she was a Nutrition Research Assistant for Dr. Alan Gaby, MD, who published the textbook, Nutritional Medicine. And, she was also an Oncology Research Assistant for Dr. Leanna Standish, PhD, ND, Lac, who is a medical director of Bastyr Integrative Oncology Research Center (BIORC) and a clinical research professor at the Bastyr University Research Institute.  Dr. Lin regularly travels to Taiwan where she works with physicians and scholars in both Taipei and Kaohsiung.

Currently, Dr. Lin focuses on women's health, especially surrounding pregnancy.  She works to help assist fertility challenges, and also assists pregnant women in all aspects on their road to motherhood.  Using both Naturopathic and Chinese medicine principles, she supports women both before and during pregnancy, helping to guide women through the challenges of these exciting times.  It doesn't stop there as Dr. Lin also works with mothers on their road to recovery and return to health after giving birth.  Following the Chinese Medicine concept of a "Sitting Month" 坐月子 she works with mothers using herbal medicine and food medicine, to bring them to optimal health and support them through the various changes.  Whether it is milk production, postpartum pain, or the stress and anxiety of a new life change, Dr. Lin provides the knowledge support that many women need.
